PLUS – in addition to our annual fest, this year we begun coordinating tons of smaller events with area businesses to bring our community together and share our enthusiasm for plant-based food, and the health and well-being of ourselves, our animal friends, and our planet.

SWFL Veg Fest showcases the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle for our health, compassion for animals and protecting our planet.
Come see how easy it is to find healthy plant-based foods in Southwest Florida. Find local sources of eco-friendly and cruelty-free products. Learn about the science behind the benefits of a plant-based diet. Featuring expert speakers, cooking demos, vendors, and animal rescues – with entertainment and activities for the whole family!
The key purpose of the SWFL Veg Fest is EDUCATION, to help promote the message of the benefits of vegan and plant-based lifestyles. We bring in experts like doctors, researchers, and activists to discuss timely topics such as health, diet, animal welfare, and the environment.
The event will include healthy living and eco-friendly exhibitors, animal rescues and other non-profits, FOOD, and much more.
Join the fun! SWFL Veg Fest 2019 is seeking volunteers for all aspects of the fest, including set up and break down for the event, staffing the Veg Fest tables and welcome stations, and assisting speakers and food vendors. We also need pre-fest help with planning, organizing, and promoting. Each year we’ve had an amazing volunteer team, and we expect to see many smiling faces back next year – but we think there’s no such thing as too many volunteers!
The SWFL Veg Fest would not be possible without the awesome support we receive both from the community and our sponsors.
Mouth-watering cooking demos, fun for the kiddos, competitions, classes, and more. You’ll want to stay all day with us!
A big part of our mission is to give back to the community, through donations to local organizations that are active throughout the year. Since our first fest in 2017, SWFL Veg Fest and aPlantBasedDiet.org have donated funds raised from our Veg Fest to the following organizations.
